Earth & Rock Anchors
Installing high capacity regroutable tiebacks, or lower capacity soil nailing
systems can diminish or eliminate the need for internal bracing, leaving the
work site open for ease in further excavation and construction. Tiedowns can
provide resistance to uplift or rotation on structures.

Drilled Piles
When
driving piles becomes unfeasible due to difficult soil conditions, G. Donaldson
can drill and rock socket piles to achieve their designed toe elevation,
allowing for a safe excavation or maximum load bearing capacity.

Mini Piles
A
valuable method of support in areas of poor access, low overhead clearance, or
excessive depth of competent, bearing strata. While capacities vary based on
pile diameter and soil or rock properties, we recently tested a 6 inch diameter
pile socketed 8 feet into the Boston Argillite to a double design load of over
170 tons.
